Good mornings friends and family. I hope everyone out there is having as nice of a week as we are. We had a blast in Denver and were totally wore out by the time we made it home and were not able to post Tuesday night obviously. Anyhow, Ben gave all the details so I will just give a short summary of yesterday and a preview of today. Tuesday morning we drove to the Royal Gorge, I was a little more impressed with it than Ben, but we have different taste. Like for example I like girls and Ben likes well.... haha only kidding! After that we went to a gold mine, it was pretty interesting and then we went through the Garden of the Gods. I think it was the garden of the gods of hell; it was hot, arid, and covered in red rock. It was very stunning scenery though. We got to see a Rockies win and Coors field lived up to the hype as we saw 4 homeruns and our hostess get hit by a foul ball. Denver was awesome, a beautiful city you should visit if you ever get the chance. Wednesday we went to the Denver mint, it was a disappointment because it was more of a history lesson than facility tour. Played some disc golf in the afternoon (at a great course) and then drove to Dubois, WY. Wyoming is either completely flat or mountainous and it changes around any given turn without notice.
Today, Thursday, we are finally set to arrive at Yellowstone. We intend to drive to Jackson, WY (the southern entrance of Grand Tetan National Park) and drive all the through it, hopefully seeing glaciers, to Yellowstone. We are not sure what we will do in Yellowstone yet because there is a high chance of rain/snow. We will figure something out and Ben will post the details tonight. Have a wonderful day, Matt
